FuseTop

Description: FuseTop allows you to draw information from multiple website sources and display it all in one centralized location. FuseTop draws content from the websites, displays the title, description, five most recent article names, and subscription options for each source. Not only that, when you move the cursor over any of the article names, a tooltip displays the first part of the article to give viewers more information before clicking through to see the content.

Ideal uses: FuseTop is ideal for networks wanting to display information from multiple sites within the network. Another ideal use case would be a site serving as an aggregator for information about a particular topic or industry — FuseTop can provide quick access to all the latest information from relevant websites.

Customization: FuseTop can be customized in a wide variety of ways including the sites to display, number of recent articles to list, and showing subscription options. Cache times can be adjusted to specification. Additional options are available such as custom logos for each listed site.

FuseTop was developed using PHP, SimplePie, XHTML, RSS, and CSS on an Apache server.
